I'm Nate, I live in the eastern timezone in the US.
This project is called Digital Organs mostly as an homage to Cronenberg's new flesh, because I would like to imagine my use of digital technologies as a type of cyborg prosthetic. Our use of technology is never neutral, but it has a nearly endless potential, both to harm and to help and to do other things which are much weirder. Operating my own website is an effort to deepen my understanding of my own digital organs and make them work for me. It is an attempt to actually dig my fingers into the computer instead of being reduced to mindless scrolling and to turn myself towards the sensual appreciation of art rather than the accumulation of capital.

I am primarily interested in using this website as a way of engaging with art through digital sense organs; to display, describe, and interpret art outside of the pre-existing social media websites dedicated to that task.
