There is a glowing resonance to this album. It reminds me of the cool, simple sound of droplets falling into a basin of water, echoing clear and bright. Or a tall, white ceiling, an austere and worldly vision of heaven. I do like to listen to this in airports and on airplanes, particularly during take off, when you get that sudden swooping sensation of flight in your stomach and can look out the window and observe all those markers of everyday life reduced to toy scale. Little toy house and toy cars and especially toy swimming pools, unreal cyan rectangles. I listen to it when I read also; for all acts of transportation and all things which lack solidity.
